No. Birth and death records can only be obtained by immediate family members or the person themselves, in the case of a birth.
Both parents must complete the appropriate forms. Each parent must have two unrelated witnesses sign the form. Completed forms must be returned to the Office or Vital Statistics, Room 115.
Birth, death and marriage record searches can be done, but may take time. Depending on the extent of the search, one to two weeks may be required for the search to be completed.
