Mount Vernon Woman Stabbed

A Mount Vernon woman was stabbed during an argument with her hairdresser.
On Friday July 22, 2022, shortly before 8 pm, Mount Vernon Police Officers responded to 107 South Fourth Avenue on a report of a party stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located a female victim suffering from a laceration to her finger and stab wounds to her arm. The victim, later identified as 45-year-old, Fenisha Sawyers-Lloyd, stated that she had been involved in a verbal altercation with her hairdresser which resulted in her being cut and stabbed. Sawyers-Lloyd sustained one laceration to her finger and two stab wounds to the arm. She was treated on scene by Empress Ambulance personnel and subsequently transported to Montefiore Mount Vernon Emergency Room.
