Black History Challenge

The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, through the Mount Vernon Community that Cares coalition (MVCTC) will host its 19th annual Black History Challenge. This event will encourage youth from various backgrounds to learn more about the African diaspora which has contributed to global history. Eight teams from local Middle and High schools will convene and display their knowledge of facts through friendly competition. Prizes will be given to the winners of the competition.
